ELFGM CALENDAR  

  • October 3, 2009 - Outreach for Jesus - Banquet at Holiday Inn off of I-53.  Call for more information:  910-423-2999.
  • October 11 - Rhema Ministries 9:00a-12p regular meeting every second Saturday.  Beginning in October, Rhema has special prayer every second Thursday of every month until December from 8a-10a.
  • October 11-13 - Evangelist Treadwell will be in Elizabeth Town, NC.  Everlasting Life will render praise and worship at the service on the 13th.  Call 910-486-9266
  • October 15 - Min. Stephen Lyons ministers at Peace Chapel at 7:30p - Bremer St, Fayetteville NC.
  • October 17 - Real Talk at Everlasting Life for young men (teenagers and adults) at 2:00-5:00p.
  • November 6-8 – Bishop Cameron’s Appreciation.
  • November 7 – Min. Stephen Lyons ministers at NCCU at 4:00p.
  • November 18-20 – Revival with Min. Joshua Banks of Alabama at Everlasting Life at 7:30p.

ELFGM PRAYER REQUEST:

  • Bishop Dallas Lyons has surgery on October 9th.  Please keep Pastor Aileen and Lyons family in prayer.
  • Pastor Batts of Outreach for Jesus and ministers, from Everlasting Life and Outreach are going on their yearly conference to various states.  Prayer for their journey, physically and spiritually that God will move mightly and keep them safe and their preach the gospel!

Special Announcements & Prayer Request

    • Jaymes Carter, a resident of Durham NC is a friend of Sterling Porter.  He has published his devotional book entitled “Faith:  A Journey Worth Taking” of which is available for purchase online.  As indicated in the Editorial Section on Amazon.com, Carter also writes poetry and short plays that are performed at different venues.  He has sent out hundreds, possibly thousands of devotions online and used that God given ability to encourage and enlightened within his devotional book. 
    • Everlasting Life applied for a grant of which was approved for the 2009.  To ensure that we, the church, is well rounded, health is an issue that needs to be addressed.  So, Bishop Dallas Lyons, Jr. and various members of Everlasting Life are involved in spreading techniques and recipes to promote healthy living.
    • Min. Stephen Lyons and Sterling Porter are spearheading Bible Studies at their jobs and has done so for quite some time now.  Continue to keep them in your prayers as they share the gospel, as gifted by God, to their co-workers and those desperately needing a word of encouragement and understanding.
